Getting to the ITT

Getting to the ITT is a start to finish practical guide to applying for public sector business opportunities. The course covers all the essential tendering activities up to completing the new Selection Questionnaire. The course identifies pre-bidding activities that will give you the winning edge and is regularly updated to include the most up to date procurement knowledge and practices. Attending this course will ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the public sector tendering landscape and improve your success rate getting through to ITTs.

Writing Compelling Bids

Writing Compelling Bids aims to provide you with an understanding of the buyer's needs and their bid documents plus show you how to provide bids that give you and your business the winning edge. The course is designed for those who would like to apply best practice to bid management and writing and ultimately improve their success rate winning public sector contracts.

Advanced Bid Writing Skills

This course will challenge bid writers to improve their submissions through the analysis and improvement of their current skills. As with all of our courses, our content is based in practice not in theory and we will help you take your bids from good to great by looking not just at the writing itself (although this is covered in-depth) but also all the components that will support you to write winning content such as creating content, researching and editing.

Developing a Bidding Strategy: Bid less, win more!

This course will support public sector suppliers to develop a coherent approach to identifying and selecting tenders they are most likely to win. It will show you how to bid smarter - work less, win more. We will work during the course to apply the learning to your current situation so you finish up the day with either a bid strategy to implement or a roadmap of steps you need to take to develop your existing approach.

Managing Bids and Tenders

This course will support anyone involved in managing the bidding process to streamline and continuously improve their approach. It will provide you with an understanding of how to plan and manage multiple contributors/stakeholders as well as more personal aspects such as relationships management and providing effective feedback. We will work throughout the day on applying the learning to your current practices to enhance your approach and we will also provide you with documents and templates to take away and support your activities.

Buyer Training Courses

These are currently provided in-house and cover the entire procurement process with topics from procurement strategy development through to specification writing, contract law, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, developing supplier relationships, contract management and so on. Our public sector trainers have all spent much of their careers in public sector procurement in many different roles and have expertise in various sectors including local authorities, the NHS, defence and construction.
