Procurement: Cost Reduction and Value Realisation (2 Days)

This 2-day workshop will provide a framework to help procurement professionals identify and plan for cost reduction and value delivery improvements from their portfolio of supply arrangements. It provides a structured approach for reviewing the effectiveness of procurement and contract management approaches from a range of angles and the opportunity to share good practice.

We will be offering a number of courses including: Introduction to Public Sector Tendering - a look at all the rules and regulations, how to develop a bid strategy, make bid or no bid decisions and how to complete selection stage documents. Writing Compelling Bids - a look at how to plan and manage the award (ITT/RFP etc.) stage, how to create and writing winning content and how to edit your bids effectively. Advanced Bid Writing Skills - moving your bids from good to great looking at not just your writing skills but also the supporting elements of creating top quality bids such as researching and competitor analysis. All of our courses can be run in house if you have a team to train or are looking for a more bespoke experience.

Buyer Training Courses

These are currently provided in-house and cover the entire procurement process with topics from procurement strategy development through to specification writing, contract law, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, developing supplier relationships, contract management and so on. Our public sector trainers have all spent much of their careers in public sector procurement in many different roles and have expertise in various sectors including local authorities, the NHS, defence and construction.
